Rosemount captured the Hugh Daniels Cup and win the Westmeath Junior Championship beating a very strong Milltown team by 4 pts with scoreline of 0- 9 to 0-5.
After spending a year in junior the ranks the milestone had been reached and everyone agreed the only way forward was up. After a very tough encounter in Cusack Park on Sunday the ROSES playing only their second junior final (last one was in 1928) came out victorious winners.
